Additional time provided for family physicians to complete steps needed to qualify for Panel Registry Payment

December 13, 2023

The previously communicated deadline for uploading your panel and signing onto the Provincial Attachment System (PAS) in order to qualify for the $6,500 payment for 2023 was December 31, 2023.

Many of you have advised that more time is needed to complete this work due to busy clinics and schedules, the holiday season, and technical challenges.

Our goal is ultimately to ensure that all longitudinal family physicians, regardless of the payment model, are submitting their panels and participating in the PAS. As such, in recognition that some will need additional time, doctors now have until January 31, 2024. All longitudinal family physicians will need to upload their panels and sign onto the PAS prior to that date to be eligible for the 2023 payment. This includes physicians being paid under all payment models, including LFP Payment Model, Fee-for-Service, Blended Capitation, and AP models.

Thank you to all those who have already completed these items. Those who have not yet completed this work are urged to do so as soon as possible, ideally by December 31 as previously communicated.

For support in submitting patient panels, you can email . Information is also available on how to submit your panel list and access the Panel Registry. Payment information, can be found on our PAS payment information page. Please note: Doctors of BC offices will be closed after December 21 until January 2. Dr.Bill’s offices and PHSA offices will be closed during statutory holidays in December.

Additionally, medical directors (or their delegates) can claim $2,000 per longitudinal family medicine clinic when they add/update and validate clinic information in the Clinic and Provider Registry as soon as possible but no later than January 31.

Instructions on how to claim the Clinic and Provider Registry Payment and Panel Registry Payment will be shared in January 2024.
