Information webinar: Prescribing COVID-19 anti-viral medications

Please join Doctors of BC, in partnership with the Provincial Health Services Authority, on Wednesday, February 9th from 6:00pm – 7:00pm for an information webinar on prescribing these anti-viral medications. Speakers will include:

• Maureen O’Donnell,  Executive Vice President, Clinical Policy, Planning and Partnerships, Provincial Health Services Authority, who will discuss the approach for “waves” of prescribers
• Jolanta Piszczek, Chair, BC COVID-19 Therapeutics Committee (CTC) and UBC Clinical Associate Professor, who will highlight the CTC recommendations and evidence
• Eric Partlow, Clinical Instructor, UBC Department of Infectious Disease and Jennifer Grant, Medical Microbiologist, Vancouver Coastal Health who will highlight real-world experiences identifying patients and prescribing Paxlovid
