Zoom licenses available free of charge for physicians

Doctors Technology Office in partnership with the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) is providing 10,000 Zoom licenses for physicians free of charge for a period of one year. The licenses are available to all providers, including Family Physicians, Specialists and Nurse Practitioners, whether community or health authority-based. 

Zoom for Healthcare is a cloud-based video conferencing software approved for the delivery of Virtual Health. Some physicians who already utilize Zoom may want to use this opportunity to upgrade to the Healthcare model. These licenses have been made available through a funding agreement between the Ministry of Health and Canada Health Infoway, in support of ongoing efforts to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Physicians should continue to choose tools that work best for their clinical practice. This offering is meant as an option for those wanting to explore Zoom for Healthcare or are in need of a virtual care platform
