Doctors of BC announces Anthony Knight as new CEO
After an extensive recruitment process, the Doctors of BC Board of Directors has appointed Anthony Knight as the association's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Anthony has been CEO of the New Brunswick Medical Society for 12 years. He is a strong leader with experience in advocating for and leading negotiations on behalf of physicians. He also brings the senior corporate leadership and business skills needed to ensure that Doctors of BC successfully delivers on the direction and priorities set by the Board. As one of his first priorities, he will be working with the Board to develop a clear vision and strategy for the association. Anthony holds a master’s degree in business administration and enjoys CrossFit, golf, and hockey. He has three children and is married to Joanne.
Anthony will start in his new position January 1. Jim Aikman will continue as Interim CEO until the new year. The Board thanks Jim for leading the association during a challenging year of transition.
