Business Pathways recently hosted a webinar, "Fundamentals of employment law for doctors," with guest presenter Leanne M. Walsh from West Coast Workplace Law.

The webinar starts by introducing key elements of the Employment Standards Act, addressing some common concerns and misconceptions about employment law, followed by an overview of recent legislative developments and employment law updates that could impact practices. Implementing employment agreements and best practices for hiring and managing personnel are also discussed to help doctors feel confident in setting up their workplace for success.
Business Pathways also offers many agreement templates for members who would like to start the contracting process. These templates can be used to minimize the cost of drafting each contract; however, each clinic will be required to negotiate the terms of their specific agreement using legal support.
