Registration opens for Champions of Change event

December 6, 2017

Change is a constant in the world of health care – it can present challenges and it can present opportunities. Often it’s a bit of both.

This year, the Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs) have made “change” the theme of their one-day “pre-forum” session, part of the BC Patient Safety Quality Council Annual Forum.

The event “Champions of Change” takes place February 21, 2018 in Vancouver. The day will feature innovative ideas and projects with demonstrated results to help improve care for patients and their families. Physicians and other health care professionals will share successes, explore emerging ideas for positive change, and it will also be an opportunity for participants to network both in structured and informal ways.

Registration is open for physicians and other health care professionals. The Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs) will sponsor the registration fees, travel and sessional for any practicing physician within BC to attend. Please contact to receive your sponsorship code or for more information.

What are the Joint Collaborative Committees?

The Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs) are the result of a unique partnership between the Doctors of BC and the BC government that empowers physicians to have a voice in shaping improvements to better meet the needs of patients and families.  For more information about the JCCs, click here.
