The Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs), a partnership between Doctors of BC and the BC government, are hosting a Community-Based Experiential Learning session in collaboration with Len Pierre Consulting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 5:00–9:00 p.m. at the Tsawwassen First Nations Longhouse in Tsawwassen, BC.
This session provides cultural safety and humility teachings through immersive learning and provides opportunities for ongoing relationship-building with Indigenous communities.
Please note that space is limited to 60 participants.
Sessional time, dinner, and mileage exceeding 50 km one-way are provided. We welcome registration from interprofessional team members (ITMs) who make up team-based care and offer a stipend to ITMs who are not salaried.
We are grateful to hold this session on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territory of Tsawwassen (scəw̓aθən) First Nation, who have lived on and stewarded these lands since time out of mind.
