The Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs), a partnership between Doctors of BC and the BC government, are hosting a Community-Based Experiential Learning session in collaboration with Len Pierre Consulting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 5:00–9:00 p.m. at the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Líl̓wat7úl Cultural Centre in Whistler, BC.
This session provides cultural safety and humility teachings through immersive learning and provides opportunities for ongoing relationship-building with Indigenous communities.
Please note that space is limited to 60 participants.
Sessional time, dinner, and mileage exceeding 50 km one-way are provided. We welcome registration from interprofessional team members (ITMs) who make up team-based care and offer a stipend to ITMs who are not salaried.
We are grateful to hold this session on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional shared territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Líl̓wat7úl (Lil’wat) Nations.
