Submission on Creation of Net-New Restricted Activity in the Regulation of Psychotherapy

Doctors of BC submitted a letter in response to the Ministry of Health’s consultation on the proposed creation of a new restricted activity to help shape the regulation of psychotherapy in the province. The letter requests a meeting to share additional feedback with the Ministry with the goal of working collaboratively to support regulating psychotherapy in a way that upholds patient safety and ensures access to mental health care in BC.
