Nomination process
- All nominations must be supported by two nominators.
- Nominees and nominators must be Doctors of BC members in good standing and must be eligible to nominate or hold office in the category for which the nomination is being made.
Unsure which District you belong to? Districts are based on the clinical address provided by the College. Check the RA District Search before submitting a nomination to confirm your district.

Download and complete the appropriate Nomination Form below, then submit it by email to voting@doctorsofbc.ca before the close of nominations on October 19, 2026.
Campaign and voting
Campaigns
- All candidates must comply with the Doctors of BC Election Policy, which ensures that campaigns are run in a fair, open, and courteous manner.
- Candidates can submit a campaign statement (a maximum two-page PDF) that briefly outlines their philosophy on issues faced by Doctors of BC and demonstrates how their relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities align with the core duties and competencies of the position they are seeking.
- Candidates are also encouraged to submit a headshot as a separate file.
- Candidate campaign materials must be submitted to voting@doctorsofbc.ca by 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
Voting
- Electronic voting begins on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, when eligible members will receive an email from ElectionBuddy that contains a link to the voting site and all necessary login information.
- If you do not receive the email invitation, or cannot find it, or have technical difficulties with the voting site, please contact ElectionBuddy Support directly at doctorsofbc@electionbuddy.com.
- For questions pertaining to eligibility, please email Doctors of BC at voting@doctorsofbc.ca.
Result
Election results will be announced on Thursday, November 19, 2026.
