Doctors of BC’s biannual Benchmark Member Survey is a key part of our ongoing commitment to better understanding members’ needs and priorities. The feedback we receive helps guide our advocacy work on your behalf, improves how we engage with you, and identifies ways to better listen to, support, and inform you.
This year’s results show that, despite working within a healthcare system under considerable strain, engagement levels between Doctors of BC and our members remain relatively positive. Both family physicians and specialists mainly believe we effectively represent their needs, understand what matters to them, and keep them informed about the association’s activities.
Members also identified opportunities for improvement in areas such as enhancing members’ ability to share their opinions more effectively and responding more quickly to their needs, and indicated a desire for shorter, more targeted updates and ongoing engagement.
