At Doctors of BC, we connect with our members to bring about positive change in our health care system and to ensure we are providing maximum value to them. One way in which we do this is through our President's Tour.
Each year, our President travels around the province meeting face-to-face with as many members as possible. The purpose is twofold: to gain insight into issues affecting doctors and the communities in which they work, and to explore ways in which we can work together to find solutions. Through these face-to-face meetings, doctors can hear the latest on what the organization is doing and ask questions about issues of importance to them. Doctors of BC staff follow up to ensure actions noted by members are incorporated into the organization's work plans.
The president also meets with key stakeholders, media and public figures on the President's tour to further advocate and communicate on issues of BC's doctors and to offer solutions.
