CEO's Letter: Be Eligible to Vote in the Doctors of BC Election

March 30, 2016

Dear Member,

The bylaws of the Doctors of BC permit members who are in good standing 40 days before the Annual General Meeting to vote in any regular election. This means that to be eligible to vote in the upcoming 2016 elections you must be a member in good standing before midnight on April 25th, 2016. Unless you are eligible to be a member without paying dues (for example life, senior, or honorary member) you must have paid your 2016 dues before midnight on April 25th or you cannot vote. The bylaws do not permit any exceptions to this requirement.

If you are in good standing as of April 17th, you will be sent an email from Everyone Counts Canada on April 18th inviting you to vote in the election. If you pay your dues after April 17th but before the deadline of midnight on April 25th, then you will receive your invitation to vote shortly after April 25th.

If you have any questions regarding your eligibility, please email .

Yours faithfully,

Allan Seckel
Chief Executive Officer
