Submission to Ministry of Health's Scope of Practice of Regulated Health Professions Proposals

Doctors of BC has long advocated on the issue of scope of practice changes, an important area of opportunity and concern for physicians. As part of these efforts, we developed a response to government regarding a set of proposed scope of practice changes for regulated health professionals. 

The submission is based on our 2023 policy statement, Scope of Practice for Health Professionals, and member feedback. The submission advocates for the development of a collaborative and structured framework for scope of practice modifications while articulating physician feedback on each proposal.
