Webinar: Optimizing safety procedures in your practice with WorkSafeBC

May 31, 2022

Do you know what to do in the event that you or one of your employees gets injured on the job? As a doctor who employs staff or operates through an incorporated company, you may be required to register with WorkSafeBC. Though these requirements are not new, you may not be aware of them or know how to register.

Learn how to identify and meet the regulatory requirements for your practice in a live, educational webinar, Optimizing your practice: WorkSafeBC and safety at your workplace on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 6-7:30 p.m.

This webinar will help answer important questions and simplify the registration process for you and your practice.

In partnership with Business Pathways, an initiative of Doctors of BC, a team including medical advisors and a prevention manager from WorkSafeBC will discuss how physicians can obtain personal coverage and cover income loss and other expenses in the event of a workplace injury or illness. By using case study examples, the hosts will review requirements and strategies that directly apply to your practice. A summary of available policies, templates, and additional resources will be included to help you learn how to protect and prioritize the safety of your practice, your team, and yourself.

The webinar will help doctors review and understand information covered in WorkSafeBC’s Physician Guide to WorkSafeBC Registration and Insurance Coverage. To determine whether you need to register with WorkSafeBC, you can complete the physician registration form and email it to
