Doctors of BC members are invited to provide your thoughts on potential topics for future Council on Health Promotion (COHP) policy projects.
COHP produces a major policy paper each year, which tends to focus on key issues relating to health promotion and illness/injury prevention. Past COHP policy papers have covered a variety of areas, including:
- supporting family caregivers,
- supporting youth mental health,
- improving addiction care in BC, and
- calling for a coordinated dementia strategy in BC.
All topic recommendations that are submitted are reviewed by COHP, and the Board of Directors gives final approval, with consideration given to COHP’s advice.
If you have any suggestions for COHP policy topics for the 2017/18 operating year, please complete this template and return it to no later than Monday, February 20, 2017.
