Invitations for booster shots for community physicians coming in January

Beginning in January of 2022, all Community physicians in private practice, along with other community health care workers, will be invited to receive their COVID booster based on a 6-month interval from their Dose 2 vaccination. Doctors will need to self-identify as a community physician on the Get Vaccinated website and input a specific code. There are a couple of areas of which we are seeking clarity with the Ministry of Health. We have reached out to see if your MOAs and other office staff are included in the health care worker booster program, and what “proof of employment” community physicians could provide at the vaccination clinic.
