Supporting our Graduating Residents

Graduation from residency training is a momentous milestone in a physician’s life – an occasion that Doctors of BC is honoured to help new-to-practice physicians celebrate with its Resident Graduation Sponsorship Program. Now in its second year, this program provides additional funding to existing resident graduation events that take place around the province each year. 

Our goal is to not only help cover the costs of these graduation events and help graduating residents celebrate such a significant occasion, but to also demonstrate our commitment to and support of BC’s doctors of tomorrow. To date, the program has sponsored close to 100 events and helped more than 500 graduates celebrate their transition from residency to practice. 

The Resident Graduation Sponsorship program is just one of the many ways in which Doctors of BC is committed to supporting physicians through every stage of their career.
