New student benefit: Doctors of BC provides no-cost life insurance throughout medical school

Medical students, like all students around the province, are getting ready to head back to school in this Fall. And Doctors of BC is here to help you. We provide a wide range of information on benefits and programs offered to medical students through our Association.

One such benefit is our no-cost life insurance which, for the first time, is being expanded to provide coverage to medical students for all four years of medical school. In the past this no-cost coverage was for first year medical students only, but is now available to all medical students – and all at no cost to you. Doctors of BC pays the premium as part of our commitment to supporting our doctors of tomorrow.
