Expressions of Interest accepted for new group family physician contracts

The Ministry of Health is accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for doctors interested in pursuing the Practicing Full- Service Family Physician Group Contract introduced earlier this fall. 

Due to the anticipated high demand and the pressures of contending with a pandemic, the Ministry of Health is taking a phased and gated approach to accepting submissions. In the first phase, EOIs will be accepted from group practices in communities with approved Primary Care Networks (PCNs) plans and where implementation is underway. Phase 2 will include communities in final stages of PCN planning. Phase 3 will include all communities. A reminder that physicians who are in communities without approved PCN plans in place must be willing to commit to participating in the PCN when available.
