Changemaker Award: Nominate a medical student or resident who is making an impact

February 14, 2020

Are you a medical student or resident who goes above and beyond to advocate for a stronger healthcare system? Do you know someone who is? If so, submit a nomination for Doctors of BC’s Changemaker Award. Give them the recognition they deserve, and the chance to win $2,000!

The Changemaker Award recognizes outstanding advocacy work demonstrated through exemplary leadership and grassroots initiatives in BC. An individual’s commitment may be demonstrated by advancing health policy, supporting quality patient care, or improving the medical training process. They may be involved with their local constituency, or be an active member of an association or political party. One thing is crucial: successful candidates are proactive and passionate about improving BC’s health care system.

Winners are presented with an engraved plaque and a $2,000 cheque at the Doctors of BC’s Annual General Meeting Awards Ceremony, taking place May 29th 2020 in Vancouver.

Nominations close April 3rd, 2020. For more information and application forms click here
