December 22, 2015

Many people make New Year resolutions to get and stay healthy.  Doctors want to empower patients reach and maintain this goal all year-round.

That’s why a group of doctors at the Burnaby Division of Family Practice created a series of 19 videos that provide information on everything from how to navigate the health care system to taking a proactive approach to good health.

Based on a speaker series hosted by Dr Davidicus Wong, the collection features:

  • “Making Sense of Symptoms” (13 videos)
  • “Why Emotional Health Matters” (3 videos)
  • “Navigating Your Hospital Stay” (3 videos)

In addition to multimedia, patients can access downloadable info sheets and presentation notes on additional topics, including diabetes, healthy diets, and medical ethics.
